Animal Farming

In ADayZ, you can farm animals for pets, decoration/immersion, or as a living "fridge" for meat. Some animals also spawn food while alive.

Building an Animal Fence

1. Build a square using 4 fences with their lower frames.
2. Stay as close as possible to the center of the square while building.
3. When complete, the player who built the last fence will receive a Discord message from the bot (may be delayed up to 10 minutes).

Adding Animals

1. Drop the required "materials" (usually animal pelts) in a built AnimalFence.
2. Drop materials as close as possible to the center of the AnimalFence.
3. The animal will be scheduled to spawn after the pelts despawn.
4. To speed up spawning, ruin the pelts and move away from the area.
5. The animal will appear after the next server restart.
